Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance as soon as possible after booking your holiday to cover all eventualities, particularly health cover, cancellation, evacuation, curtailment, flight delays, loss and damage to personal property as well as comprehensive health insurance, including medical expenses and repatriation coverage.

Health care in Turkey is not covered under the E111 as in the European Union and private health cover is necessary.  However the standard of private care in the area is excellent and generally significantly cheaper than European private hospitals. 

It is your sole responsibility to ensure that whatever travel insurance policy you already have in place, or that you intend to purchase, is suitable for your needs and individual circumstances. If you fail to take out adequate insurance cover for each member of your party, we will not be liable for any refunds or losses, howsoever arising, in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.
