Following the enormous disruption we experienced throughout the 2020 and 2021 seasons, we sincerely hope that travel restrictions relating to COVID-19 are now a thing of the past. In the unlikely event that travel restrictions are re-imposed at a future date owing to COVID-19, we would like you to note the following.
As we act as a booking agent on behalf of the owners of the properties we feature within our portfolio, any amendment to our standard Booking Terms + Conditions and cancellation policy, is at the sole discretion of the relevant property owner concerned. However, as we did throughout the 2020 and 2021 seasons, we will endeavour to work very closely with our owners to find satisfactory and fair solutions should any of our guests’ travel plans be disrupted by the re-implementation of government-imposed travel restrictions as a result of COVID-19. Please note that any special terms will be at the sole discretion of the relevant owner and policies vary from owner to owner.
If you, or any member of your party are unable to arrive as planned as a result of a positive Covid-19 test prior to your arrival and you cancel your booking for this reason, normal cancellation charges apply and you will need to cover your losses via your travel insurance policy.
Similarly, should any member of your party need to isolate as a result of contracting Covid-19 during your stay, the cost of any additional nights added to your stay would be charged to you at the normal nightly rate for the relevant period. You will need to seek reimbursement for this, and any other additional expenses incurred via your travel insurance policy. Please also note that while we will do our very best to assist you in these circumstances, we reserve the right to refuse an extension to your booking if there are other guests due to arrive at the property.
It is therefore imperative that you check the terms of your travel insurance carefully and to ensure that you have a comprehensive policy in place (to cover all members of your party) as soon as you make your booking.
