Villa Euterpe is one of the uniquely designed Muses Villas. Euterpe, one of the nine muses and the daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, serves as the inspiration for this enchanting villa. Mediterranean in style and in an elevated location in Kiziltas, all the Muses Villas offer sea views and are only a 10 to 15 minute walk downhill to the centre of Kalkan.
This property shares an entrance off the access road with Villa Calliope which is next door. Once through the main entrance gate, stone steps lead you to ornate metal gates with their own integral code pads.
Villa Euterpe is on a slightly lower elevation than Villa Calliope and the accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground Floor:
The glass entrance door leads straight into the kitchen which is well equipped with an island that has a gas hob with extractor fan and an electric oven. By the twin sinks is a sandwich toaster, kettle, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Around the corner is a cupboard with a water cooler and microwave.
As you walk round to the front of the villa, you’ll find a floating wall with a fireplace and Smart TV plus a sofa and two armchairs spaced around a wooden coffee table. Glass doors provide access to the pool terrace and a huge floor to ceiling picture window features views across the infinity pool to Kalkan Bay below. The dining table beyond comfortably seats 6 and sliding doors lead out to the shallow pool area.
Beyond the kitchen is a hallway leading to a cinema room through a curtained archway. This is furnished with a sofa and two covered foot stools. At the end, is a sauna that looks over the internal garden as well as a cloakroom with a shower, WC and basin as well as a washing machine for guests’ use.
At the other end of the hallway is the Master bedroom with a free-standing bathtub within the room and an en-suite shower with WC and basin. Within the bedroom itself are open wardrobes with a chest of drawers below and a dressing table with mirror. Sliding doors lead out onto the pool terrace with sea views.
First floor:
This floor has two further bedrooms beneath high beamed eaves – the first bedroom at the front of the villa is a double with a huge floor to ceiling picture window with fabulous views of Kalkan Bay and the islands. Within the room is a dressing table and mirror with open wardrobes and an en-suite shower with WC and basin. Sliding doors to the side of the bedroom lead out to the large shared balcony.
The second bedroom at the rear of the villa is a twin that can be made into a double on request. Within the room is an open wardrobe with a chest of drawers and a dressing table with mirror. This room also has an ensuite shower room with a WC and basin. Glass doors up a wooden step within the room lead out to the shared balcony with an elevated patio furnished with 4 ornate metal chairs and a round table - the perfect place to take in the mountain and sea views.
Outside the villa:
The shallow end of the pool with two submerged sun loungers can be accessed from the dining room. The rest of the infinity pool is accessed down steps from the pool terrace offering wonderful views across the town to the bay.
On the terrace is a dining table that comfortably seats 6 and a portable BBQ to enable your party to enjoy al fresco dining. There is also a sofa and chairs around an ottoman table with wooden stacked stools.
A further veranda with stone pillars can be used by guests who prefer to have some shade.
