Your Financial Protection

The internet has made it easy for anyone to put together a tailor-made holiday online. Many people now book their flights and accommodation with different travel companies as this can provide more flexibility and is often cheaper, but your money and holiday will be at risk if one of the companies providing the components collapses.
With this in mind, Olive Tree Travel Ltd is pleased to offer you financial peace of mind as standard in association with International Passenger Protection (IPP).
As we do not supply ‘package’ deals, there is no legal requirement for us to provide bonding or financial insurance for our clients' holiday arrangements. But you'll be glad to hear that our financial failure insurance has been put in place to offer complete security for your holiday funds.
For any booking confirmed from 14th February 2012*, all your payments to us will be protected in the event that we become insolvent, which means you can book your holiday accommodation with us in complete confidence. In addition, if you’re pre-booking your car hire or transfer arrangements with us and are paying for these prior to travelling to Kalkan, these will also be covered by this insurance.
This protection is included at no extra cost to you.
* Please note, it is not possible to back-date this cover for bookings confirmed prior to 14th February 2012.
How IPP Insurance Works
In accordance with "The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992" all passengers booking with Olive Tree Travel Ltd from 14th February 2012, are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Olive Tree Travel Ltd.
There is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips, and none is provided. This insurance is only valid for packages booked that DO NOT include flights.
Consumer aware: Your booking is insured by IPP Ltd and its panel of insurers. - This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to Olive Tree Travel Ltd. If you have booked and/ or paid direct to a Travel Agent for a holiday with Olive Tree Travel Ltd, please request proof of how the booking is secured as this will not be covered by IPP Ltd in this instance. Please note: For non-UK residents booking with Olive Tree Travel, the repatriation element of the policy WILL NOT apply.
This Insurance has been arranged by International Passenger Protection Limited and underwritten by Insurers who are members of the Association of British Insurers & Lloyds Syndicates.
