Villas Kaplumbaga + Kingfisher

Villas Kaplumbaga and Kingfisher are two adjacent detached villas in the Kisla area of Kalkan, just three minutes’ walk from the nearest beach club and the sea front (Villa Kaplumbaga is on the left and Villa Kingfisher is on the right).

There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance and a cheap water taxi service to and from Kalkan harbour operates from the local beach club, which is a few minutes' walk from the villas (the water taxi fare can be redeemed against the purchase of drinks / icecreams at the beach club).

The villas are very well-appointed and benefit from beautiful uninterrupted sea views. They each have their own private pool, four en-suite bedrooms and are both fully air-conditioned.

Both villas are pretty much identical in layout and each one is set out as follows:

Ground Floor:

Spacious open plan living / dining area furnished with an armchair, sofa (which converts to single sofa bed at Villa Kingfisher, therefore, a 9th guest can be accommodated at this villa only), coffee table, TV, DVD and a Bose docking station. The dining table seats 8 guests.  Patio doors lead out onto the pool terrace.

The well-appointed kitchen is open plan with doors leading onto terrace. It’s equipped with a split level cooker, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, 4 gas hob with extractor hood, food processor and a full range of kitchen utensils including an ice-cream maker.

In addition, there’s a laundry area with washing machine, iron, ironing board (a clothes line is provided on the top floor).

There is also a WC on this level.

First Floor:

A large double bedroom & twin-bedded room are situated on this floor. Each of these have en-suite shower rooms. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps and fantastic uninterrupted views of the sea, mountains & Kalkan town.

Second Floor:

Same layout as first floor.

Roof Terrace:

This level has fantastic views, sunloungers, a granite table & chairs plus a sink and a fridge. An ideal place to enjoy an early eveing cocktail whilst taking in those amazing views!

Outside each villa:

Each villa is set in beautifully mature gardens with uninterrupted views of the sea.

Each pool is for private use and is approximately 8 metres by 3 metres. Unlike many pools in Kalkan, both pools have shallow ends (approximately 1.3 metres deep) and they're also accessed by graduated 'roman-style' steps.

Each terrace is furnished with sun loungers and a huge parasol.

There is also a large granite table for al-fresco dining, along with a split level BBQ.

In addition, there is also a cane furniture suite on each terrace, which can be easily moved to provide sun/shade at any time of day.

Other points to note:

• A welcome pack is provided on arrival
• Complimentary ‘sundowner’ cocktail to welcome you to Kalkan at the lovely Kulahana Hotel Restaurant just three minutes walk away on the seafront
• The local beach club provides sunloungers and parasols free of charge plus a water taxi service to and from Kalkan harbour for a nominal charge (this fare can be redeemed against the purchase of drinks or icecreams)
• WiFi internet access is provided
• As well as towels for the shower rooms, towels for the poolside/beach are provided for guests’ use
• Cot and highchair are available on request
• A safe is provided
• The pools and gardens are maintained daily
• Weekly cleaning and linen changes
• A terrace heater is provided
• A wood fire is provided
• Central heating is provided
• ‘Pay as you go’ mobile phone is provided for guests’ use
• Both villas can be booked together in order to accommodate a large group of family and friends who wish to holiday together

Prices

Prices shown above are per villa per week for up to 8 guests at Villa Kaplumbaga or 9 guests at Villa Kingfisher.

(Maximum number of guests at Villa Kaplumbaga is 8. Maximum number of guests at Villa Kingfisher is 9. The 9th guest, if applicable, will be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living area).

Please note: Friday changeover preferred but this can be flexible depending on availability and at owner's discretion.
