A 2-bedroomed detached villa in the prestigious Komurluk area of Kalkan with stunning uninterrupted sea views. The villa also has the advantage of being close to one of Kalkan's most popular beach clubs.
The accommodation is set out as follows:
Spacious open plan kitchen / living / dining area. The living area has a feature fireplace plus a double sofa-bed for additional guests if required.
The well-appointed fitted kitchen features granite work surfaces and a range of modern appliances.
There is a shower room with WC on this level.
Two double bedrooms, each with en-suite shower / wet rooms.
Both of these bedrooms have access to a large verandah-style balcony that runs across the whole width of the property.
Large fresh-water pool and spacious terrace area which incorporates a shaded pergola for al-fresco dining. In addition, there is a second pergola with ottoman-style seating.
The walk to Kalkan’s public beach and the harbour area (with its array of quality restaurants) will take approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can access the harbour via free water taxi from nearby Palm Beach Club which is a few minutes walk away.
This beach club offers direct access to the sea via a spacious sundeck and small private beach. Sun loungers and parasols are available for hire and the beach club also has an excellent sea view restaurant.
The villa is fully air-conditioned. Satellite TV, DVD player and WiFi internet access are provided. Pool towels are also provided for guests' use. Cleaning and linen changes are carried out on a weekly basis - ie, if staying for 2 weeks, there will be a mid-stay clean and linen change. If staying for 1 week, there will be no mid-stay clean and linen change. Addtional cleaning and linen changes can be arranged for a small additional fee.
Zeytin Dali ‘Views don’t get better than this’
26th August 2016
Lets start by saying we are Kalkan lovers and have visited Kalkan numerous times in the last 12 years and have stayed in a range of villas over this time. Zeytin Dali is up there on all counts! A fantastic view from both the pool and the bedrooms and wall to wall sun from 8.00am to 8.00pm which is not true of all villas in Kalkan. The town is a genuine 15 minute fairly flat walk into town (no such thing as a truly flat walk in Kalkan) and can be done heading down to the beach or along the new road into town and we were able to walk back each evening with a 7 year old without an issue. The pool is gorgeous and the roman steps make a real difference with young children and the pool is deep enough to swim in but shallow enough for an adult to stand in and this is also a real bonus. There is a path one side of the villa and the property next door was empty and is set forward so we found it to be very peaceful and with hardly any road noise. There are around 160 steps directly outside the villa to the Palm Beach Club which is really handy but make sure you have a cold beer in the fridge for when you get back. Worth noting that the separate bedroom does not have Wifi so if you are travelling with a teenager then you may need to be aware. In our case my son stayed in the villa until the early hours where the Wifi is great and headed down to bed early in the morning. This was highlighted and I know Olive Tree Travel are looking at this for next year. A quick word about Debbie and Omer at Olive Tree Travel. We normally book direct with a villa owner but this year used Debbie and the team. Can’t speak highly enough of both Debbie and Omer. An issue with the pool pump was jumped on and resolved and Omer arranged for us to spend our handover day at the Lavender Lodge Hotel which was fantastic and ended the holiday on a high. I know villa rental in this part of Kalkan is slightly more expensive but if you can afford it then give it a go I’m sure you wont regret it.
Prices shown above are for the villa per week - maximum number of guests = 4.
