There are breath-taking and uninterrupted views of Kalkan Bay from this unique and luxurious villa which was originally designed for Halit and Gülsen Ergör, who are both theatre actors. For this reason, the design of Villa Toro is very spacious, featuring high ceilings with a gallery floor to create a theatrical atmosphere inside the building with the tall, dramatic windows on the façade facing Kalkan Bay providing a natural scenic backcloth.
The building is set on the Bezirgan Road, where the Taurus Mountains look down from above. The stone cladding and the sloping walls were designed to create unity between the mountains behind and the building, which enjoys a stunning view over the bay in the distance. The infinity-style pool – in the same spirit – was designed to create a unifying effect with the sea.
Villa Toros occupies a substantial 830 square metre plot and has over 450 square metres of living space. It sleeps ten people in five air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms - it is very comfortable and spacious with an extensive open-plan, airy ground floor, a separate games room and stunning roof terrace.
Outside, the infinity pool and spacious sun terrace (with sun-loungers, dining area with a pergola and a gas BBQ) surround the villa and are complemented by beautiful mature gardens with fruit trees and shaded areas.
What will strike you most about this property is the quality and simplicity of the design, with its large spacious uncluttered rooms and floor to ceiling windows, that join the inside and outside spaces.
Located in Kalkan's quiet Kiziltas district, Villa Toros is the perfect holiday retreat for large or extended families in beautiful, sunny and relaxed Kalkan village.
