Villa La Vie is a newly renovated 5-bedroom property in a prime location in Kalkan with the most spectacular views across Kalkan Bay towards the town. The villa benefits from a large and thoughtfully designed outdoor living space with an infinity pool, 2 Jacuzzis, ample sun loungers and parasols, an al-fresco dining area with barbeque and kitchenette/bar, table tennis, and table football. 

The property showcases a homely yet stylish design and features a sauna, hammam, fitness room, and games room.

The harbour and Old Town are just 10 minutes away on foot. Some of the best beach clubs (Palm Beach Club, Denizim Beach Club, and Zest Beach Club) in Kalkan are just around the corner (5-6 minutes walk). Using the Olive Tree Travel VIP card (available to all our guests), 10% discount can be enjoyed at Zest and Denizim beach clubs.*

The property has been re-designed and renovated to a very high standard, almost unrecognizable from its former self. Fully air-conditioned throughout and benefitting from black-out blinds in all sea view bedrooms. All Bedrooms have their own private terraces furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture and parasols.

Lower ground floor:

The property grounds are entered through a gate at street level, where there is also secure garage parking for one vehicle. There is also a room with fitness equipment (an exercise bike, an elliptical bike, a treadmill, weights, and pilates equipment) located at the foot of the stairs for a good workout. Stairs lead up to the pool terrace. On the far side of the terrace is another set of steps that lead down to a games room with a comfy sofa bed. There is a TV, PlayStation 4, board games, and card games in this room, plus an en-suite shower room. There is also table football for some healthy competition. .

Ground floor:

The open-plan living space features a fully integrated, well-equipped kitchen (which includes a fridge freezer with integral wine rack, built-in electric oven and microwave, dishwasher, food processor, toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster, coffee machine, and water cooler) with stylish units and quartz worktops with a breakfast bar and upholstered stools.

In front of the kitchen area is the large wooden dining table with enough upholstered seating for 10 guests to gather around.

Floor-to-ceiling doors lead out onto the pool terrace.

A feature stone wall separates the kitchen from the snug lounge area with a large sofa (seats six people), plush armchair, coffee table, and a flat-screen Smart TV that has two satellite networks and a very extensive IPTV package with English channels, sports channels as well as a lot of other international channels, built into the wall. There is a french wood fireplace installed in the stone wall.

Across the hallway is a small lounge area with two comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the view. From this lounge area, you can access the sauna room (4-6 people sitting capacity) and a guest bathroom through a small hallway.  An 8kg washer and dryer can also be found on this level.

Bedroom 1: The first of the five bedrooms is located on this floor and is furnished with a double bed, matching bedside tables, a wardrobe, and a vanity station with magnifying make-up mirror, a hair dryer, jewelry organizers, a laundry basket, a luggage rack, a dryer rack, a safe and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that lead out to the pool terrace. There is an en-suite bathroom in this room. The bathroom has a wall-mounted magnifying mirror for your convenience. 

First floor:

A central staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find the hammam and 3 of the five bedrooms.

Bedroom 2: A king-size bedroom with a dressing area and en-suite shower room. The bathroom has a wall-mounted magnifying mirror for your convenience. The room is furnished with matching bedside tables, two chairs, two chests of drawers, a vanity station with a magnifying make-up mirror, a hairdryer,  jewelry organizers, a laundry basket, a luggage rack, a dryer rack, and a wardrobe with a safe. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead out to a large terrace. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful bays across the bay. The Jacuzzi can also be accessed from here. There are steps leading down to the pool terrace on this level.

Bedroom 3: A twin room with matching bedside tables and a vanity station with a magnifying make-up mirror, a hairdryer,  jewelry organizers, a laundry basket, a luggage rack, a dryer rack, and a wardrobe with a safe. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead to a large furnished terrace to relax with a cool drink and enjoy the sea views. A bathroom across the hall is intended for the twin room's sole use. The bathroom has a wall-mounted magnifying mirror for your convenience. 

Bedroom 4: The fourth bedroom features a queen-size bed with matching bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a twin-size foldable bed chair, a bedside bench, a vanity station with a magnifying make-up mirror, a hairdryer,  jewelry organizers, a laundry basket, a luggage rack, a dryer rack. There is also a separate dressing area with a large wardrobe with a safe. This room also has an en-suite shower room. The bathroom has a wall-mounted magnifying mirror for your convenience. A comfy sofa and a table sit by the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading out onto the large furnished terrace with sea views.

A Turkish bath (hammam) is also located on this floor. It can be accessed through the door located in the bathroom that belongs to the twin room. 

On this level, there is an outdoor built-in infinity Jacuzzi to seat 6-8 people, which features integral ice buckets and can be heated in the low-season months on request (extra charges apply). This is a beautiful space from which to enjoy the sea views across Kalkan Bay, and it can be accessed from either the front double bedroom or external stairs leading up from the pool terrace. 

Second floor (entry level):

Bedroom 5: The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a plush end-of-bed upholstered bench, a vanity station with magnifying make-up mirror,  a hairdryer,  jewelry organizers, a laundry basket, a luggage rack, a dryer rack, an en-suite shower room. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors lead out onto the large roof terrace, which commands excellent views across the bay. 

There is a table and a sofa from which to enjoy a sundowner and table tennis, and around the other side of the terrace is a cozy lounge set with a giant parasol.

There is a gorgeous cactus garden and rear garden where you can also sit under the shade and enjoy yourself on this level. 

There is another entrance to the property on this floor, accessed by a flight of stone steps that lead down from the above road, where another parking space can be found.

Outside the villa:

The reimagined outdoor space features an infinity pool as the centerpiece, with an integrated bathing area furnished with two sunbeds in the water and a raised Jacuzzi. Additional sunbeds and parasols are placed around the pool and a shaded corner with leafy plants and a parasol to escape the sun.

There are two grassy spaces on the terrace to sink your feet into and a cushioned lounge set with a table to enjoy morning coffee.

In front of the villa is where you'll find the shaded al-fresco dining area with a barbeque, a small kitchen section with a kitchen/bar island, and a small refrigerator.

There is a sound system via which you can listen to your favorite selections at the pool terrace. 

A poolside shower is also provided. 

Stone steps lead up to the first-floor balcony, where the second Jacuzzi can be found in a shaded corner with ice buckets to chill your drinks.

The roof terrace features three separate areas to enjoy the view and sun during the day time stars during the night time. These areas are furnished with very comfortable outdoor furniture and giant parasols. There is table tennis in one of the areas. The back side of this terrace has a small garden with comfortable chairs and a table. Most of the time, it will be shady, allowing you to read and enjoy the flowers. 

Points to note:

• The villa is located within 65 meters of the shoreline. Also, it has the advantage that it can be accessed either from the street above or from the street below, offering a relatively flat 10-minute walk into the Old Town and a 5-6 minutes walk to the 3 major beach clubs (Palm, Denizim, and Zest - * using the Olive Tree Travel VIP card (available to all our guests), 10% discount can be enjoyed at Zest and Denizim beach clubs - this is correct at the time of writing (for the 2023 season)
• AC units will work if the doors and windows are shut
• A security system and burglar alarm can be used if required
• The Villa has two water filtration systems: one is on the main water line, and the other is in the kitchen, which supplies drinkable high-quality purified water at the sink and is connected to the water fountain for cold water dispensing 
• Built-in mosquito net screen doors throughout the villa
• Each room has an extender Wi-Fi mesh to ensure uninterrupted free wifi
• Each room has a spectacular Kalkan bay view and its own terrace with very comfortable outdoor furniture and parasols
• Each bedroom has black-out curtains
• Safes are provided
• Hairdryers and magnifying mirrors, laundry baskets, luggage racks, and dryer racks are provided in each room
• A highchair, travel cot, and/or toddler bed can be provided if needed
• A foldable twin-size roll-out bed can be provided if needed. Also, there is a sofa bed in the game room and one twin-size pull-out bed chair in the second-floor queen-size bedroom
• The villa is equipped with an electrical regulator and a generator
• The pool and Jacuzzis can be heated on request (when the outdoor temperature is below 22 degrees centigrade) - extra charges for pool / Jacuzzi heating may apply - please ask for details at the time of booking
• The main pool (excluding the Jacuzzi and shallow pool area) is approximately 7 meters x 4 meters and are saline (not chrlorinated)
• Shopping deliveries can be made on request
• The pools and gardens are maintained daily
• Complete villa cleaning is done mid-week and at the end of each week. Sheets and towels will be changed weekly
• A luxury welcome pack is provided on arrival (with the owner’s compliments)
• Fresh loaves of bread will be delivered daily with one bag of ice (with the owner’s compliments) - not available for winter lets

*Prices shown above are for the villa per week based on 10 guests - the maximum number of preferred is 10, but it is possible to accommodate an additional 2 guests at the owner's discretion. An extra cost of £250 per extra guest per week will be applied, unless the extra guests are children aged 6 or below in which case there is no additional charge.

The additional guests (if applicable) will be accommodated on a sofa bed in the games room, and a single-sized fold out bed (which can be placed in any of the larger bedrooms). 

If booking a stay of 2 weeks or more, 3% discount will be applied on the second and subsequent weeks. For parties of 1-5 people, a 3% discount applies. Only one discount per booking is permitted. 

Pool heating (for the main pool and Jacuzzi pool on 1st floor) is available at an additional cost - at the time of writing (November 2023) the weekly rate is £400. If you'd prefer to heat just the main pool, the weekly charge is £275. The pool heating costs are subject to change so please check at the time of booking. 

If booking 10th May - 23rd May (at the discounted rate of £1750 per week), there is an additional charge of £200 per week if the hamam and / or sauna are used.

Saturday - Saturday bookings are preferred in peak season - arrivals and departures on other days will be at owner's discretion.
