Asfiya Hotel

The Asfiya is superbly located only 10 minutes walk away from the village centre, but the real secret of its charm can’t be seen from the outside. It’s only when you enter into the heart of this small hotel complex, that you realise that it’s built around an exquisite oasis of gardens at the centre of which is a large freshwater pool with a separate Jacuzzi section.

The hotel’s owner, Aslan, takes pride in the Asfiya as one of the jewels in his group of local properties, which include the Yali Beach Club, the Oasis hotel and the Likya Residence Hotel and Spa.

Asfiya guests can take advantage of free two-way transfers to the beach club, which offers panoramic views across Kalkan bay, the harbour and the ‘OldTown’. Carved into a rocky outcrop, the beach club platform has an all-day restaurant, sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as Turkish day-beds for nestling in a little shade when the sun is at full strength.

All the staff are very welcoming and always helpful. You will find a high standard of service here – nothing is too much trouble. As a base for exploring Kalkan and the local area, the Asfiya is a prime location.

The neutral white and beige stone facades of the Asfiya’s buildings are off-set by the strong colours of Kalkan’s signature bougainvillea plants. The poolside bar provides an unofficial library service with its collection of novels on offer along with the drinks.

Breakfast can be taken in the shaded seating area, at tables by the pool or in any of the small eating areas hidden in quiet corners of the garden.

Wellness Spa Centre:

The Asfiya also has the benefit of a Wellness & Spa Centre and Haman (Turkish Bath). In this area, you can indulge in a variety of treatments, including massages and beauty treatments or relax in the huge Jacuzzi.

Rooms and Suites:

The rooms are spacious and are decorated in a simple Mediterranean style, with tiled floors and an uncluttered sense of space. Most have now been converted into Suites, which are either double or twin-bedded. While they vary in layout, each suite has an archway between the bedroom and sitting area plus a balcony. The front facing suites have views across the road towards the sea, though most sea views are limited by buildings and foliage.

Deluxe Suites:

More spacious than the regular suites, the deluxe suites have an ottoman-style seating area and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The balcony looks out over the central courtyard pool. For a romantic holiday with a touch of luxury, these suites are a perfect choice.

Owner / Master Suite:

This suite is situated on the top floor of the hotel and benefits from having a comfortable seating area. The suite has two large terraces - the one accessed via the seating area has views towards Kalkan village and the other terrace, accessed via the bedroom area, overlooks the Asfiya's pool.

Master Deluxe Suites:

These are lovely large double-bedded suites, beautifully furnished with corner seating area and Jacuzzi bath. These suites share a small private swimming pool that wraps around the building and each suite has a large balcony that overlooks the central courtyard pool.

Penthouse Suites:

These two new large double-bedded suites are on the roof of the main building. They’re beautifully furnished in light wood with floor to ceiling windows and each suite has the benefit of a plasma TV and minibar. In addition, each one has its own small private pool, offering total privacy and quiet. Each suite is very spacious but Penthouse 2 is larger than Penthouse 1 and its terrace area is almost twice as big. Either Penthouse is the perfect place for a romantic getaway!

Prices shown are per room/suite per week (not per person) based on two guests sharing a room/suite including breakfast.

It is possible to add a third guest (child) to some of the suites on request. In this instance an additional supplement will be charged (please note that the third guest will be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living area of the suite).

Payment terms: A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking and the balance will be due no later than 10 weeks prior to arrival. If the arrival date is within 10 weeks, full payment is required upon booking.
